The ApeCoin DAO Governance Working Group (GWG) stands as a pivotal entity within the ApeCoin ecosystem, dedicated to advancing decentralized governance processes and aspiring to set the standard for Working Group blueprints. Comprising Stewards, who act as managers, a Facilitator team, and the DAO Secretary, their multifaceted roles involve the development, lobbying, implementation, and management of various budgets and strategic initiatives. They also play a key role in facilitating elections and exploring economic sustainability pathways on behalf of the community.

Actively supporting the APE Improvement Proposal (AIP) process, the Working Group is responsible for reviewing and reporting on and community-submitted proposals to ensure compliance with standards.

Within the DAO, the GWG collaborates with other Working Groups to prioritize streamlined operations.
